I dont read or watch tbhk, but let me just say the ships mitsukou and hananene are literally canon, i thought they were cute and i should just show how they work, you can ship who you want but theres evidence to these two ships, official pics of the ships shown below

First let me show pictures used to advertise this manga that show these ships, first is hananene
Now here is mitsukou
Moving on now to the actual manga/anime, hananene is absolutely 100 percent canon, nene confesses to him, then kisses him, and then states that she wants to leave everything behind because she wants to be with him
Now you may be wondering why im saying these two are canon, everybody knows that, well it's because many people think nene has a chance to be with kou which thus ruins the other ship i like, which is mitsukou, as you can see in the last post, nene is shown to be really in love-
With hanako, if they did one day separate, i doubt she'll get with kou, she would probably give up love in general and or try getting back with hanako, many people say kou has a crush on her and i won't lie he does care for her, but it never is stated to be romantically, i think-
He just sees her as a good friend, him protecting her, and blushing around her isn't only with her but with others also, he blushes and protects mitsuba and blushes with hanako sometimes to
Now onto how mitsuba and kou could be more then just friends, he cares about him more then probably anyone, he thinks about him alot
Next reason why i think their more then friends is how close they get to each other, they look really serious to when they are so it isn't as a joke
More evidence for these two is when kou sees mitsuba again time stopped which shows how much he cares, then kou confesses that he likes mitsubas personality and he wants to stay together with mitsuba even when he's dead, notice all the blushing in those photos
Kou is shown here admire mitsuba and in another picture go somewhere just for him
In a recent chapter, when things that he wants are shown, mitsuba is visible, also he wants to kill himself just so he can be with mitsuba, if that isn't love, i don't know what is
Now if your wondering mitsuba might not like him back,then your wrong, because hes his only friend and its shown one time mitsuba is taking a picture of kou and he asks what mitsuba is smiling/taking a picture of,im not exactly sure,and mitsuba replies with "something important"
In conclusion, you can't deny these two ships, mitsukou and hananene, have lots of evidence and are probably the best ships in the series by far
There is so much evidence i can't possibly fit it all together but here is more stuff that shows kou cares, if you want to add to this thread be my guest
