the antithesis perspective of youth ㅡ a short thread explaining the yoonkook bond of "angst" and "innocence" in hyyh trilogy. (pt.2)

#BTSTHEORY #ARMYTS @army_society @BTS_twt
since this is a series,, I request everyone to read the part 1 of this thread to get a clearer conception regarding my theory. have an amazing journey ♡! https://twitter.com/hoseokmymuse/status/1381999269800943620?s=19
please watch the bu videos ("hyyh" only),, to understand it better ㅡ https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLF-Lf019nJf41kIbxdPnNP5ATbKfEjFoP

𖧷 this thread is completely based on bu,, there's no relation with real life. the boys' names might be same but this has no connection with their reality, everything happens in bu.
✰ Disclaimer ㅡ a detailed thread on my thoughts on youth trilogy. I'm not a 'theorist', I thought of making this bcs there might be many new armys who want to know about bu.

✰ Trigger Warning ㅡ mentions of d€ath, su!c!de, d€pression, bl00d.
the reason I didn't explain these in the pt.1 of this thread, is bcs that time I didn't expect "run" mv theory & w/o that, the hyyh trilogy remains incomplete. also, the jpn mv(s) play a very imp role in hyyh yoonkook.

my previous thread of hyyh trilogy : https://twitter.com/hoseokmymuse/status/1382737858729975808?s=19
as I've already jungkook is the personification of "innocence" since he's the youngest among all of them; while yoongi is the personification of "angst/confusion" due to the 's!n' he's committed. in the pt.1 of this thread, I've related yoonkook to the theory of yin-yang, and ++
explained what led me do so; here in this thread, I'll once again explain why I relate yoonkook with yin-yang theory but with different attributes. let's consider the jpn mv of "I need u" ㅡ jungkook is lying on a bed of flowers while the lily behind yoongi is burning. now ++
let's get into the story. "flowers" are a symbol of innocence & love. the flower bed where jungkook was laying down on wasn't particularly made of lily, but loads of colorful flowers which indicates he is still an innocent child (in his youth). seokjin was seen lying on the ++
bed of lily flowers ㅡ and as I've already explained in the very first thread of my hyyh trilogy, lili is the symbol of virtues & de@th. both kor & jpn versions of "I need u" mv has seokjin related with white lily petals. now, if we go by the storyline; jungkook is the one ++
who lights the flowers with fire, right after which the lily behind yoongi starts burning. in "I need u" org ver. it was the reverse; yoongi tried to burn down the m0tel room & jungkook tried to save him. is it really the reverse? here, in yoonkook theory, the white lily is a ++
symbol of his own innocence, and the yoongi is the fire who is trying to bring jungkook out of his innocent youth to adulthood. yoongi was watching the lily catching fire (witnessing jungkook's innocence getting tore apart) yet, he was standing helplessly; just like jungkook ++
when he saw yoongi setting the m0tel room on fire (till the "I need u" mv). now, let's move on to the jpn version of "run" mv ㅡ the multiple appearances of 'blue rose' & 'mirror', that's certainly connected with the kor version of "run" mv. first off, let's talk about the ++
blue rose ㅡ they are beautiful, delicate but also thorny. this flower doesn't grow naturally, thus it's depicts 'dream', it has also became a symbol of unfulfilled longing. there's a story regarding "blue rose", which is explained in this blog ㅡ https://flowermeanings.org/blue-rose-meaning/
++
this concept goes absolutely perfect with hyyh yoonkook. next up we have the "mirror" ㅡ in run jpn mv, yoongi's set is full of broken pieces of mirror; he picked up one piece, saw his reflection and threw that away cuz he is utterly confused with all the reflection around him ++
while in the kor mv, yoongi threw the chair and crashed the mirror; just the way jungkook crushed the blue rose within his fist, in the jpn mv ㅡ either way, yoonkook is leaving their hands. this is the reason, ppl say "hyyh yoonkook had a sad ending", well it's justified. ++
in the prologue timeline, they had a good bonding, but "run" comes after prologue, making it a melancholic ending (though the epilogue is still left).

thus, I end my final hyyh yoonkook thread here,, one more thread left about "epilogue : young forever" and lastly I'll try ++
to summarize my entire hyyh theory in one thread !! thank you so much for reading, have a good day/night ♡!
