I'm starting to realize how little I enjoy the social-era of the internet where you aimlessly scroll the same two sites all day and am looking to get back into Web 2.0 blogs and bookmarks.

First for comic news and commentary you can't beat Women Write About Comics @wwacomics and the relative newbie ComicsXF @ComicsXF. Both eschew the clickbait and pure ad-copy that defines every other comic space on the internet, and have pleasant, well thought-out commentary
I am desperate for more movie sites, but right now the only name in the game for the kind of articles I'm looking for (written from a distinct lens about the kinds of movies that aren't the ones currently dominating the pop conversation) is Nathan Rabin's Happy Place @nathanrabin
And of course, I have to give props to @DinosaurDracula, my fave website and the number one stunner in terms of online writing that is completely disinterested in the zeitgeist, and instead is a marvelous window into the distinct passions of its owner.
And right now, that's all I got. Show me your bird blogs, and your environmental sites, and your solo movie commentary and your theme park review sites. I want new places to explore!
