Do you remember this 1993 photo? In this photo taken in Sudan,a vulture is waiting for the death of that hungry little girl. The photo was titled "The Vulture and the Little Girl" The photographer was Kevin Carter from South Africa! Pulitzer Prize winner that year.

Despite this, he committed suicide at the age of 33 ... because someone asked him a question on the phone

"What happened to that girl in the end?" "I don't know, I was in a hurry and I wanted to catch a flight," Carter said. The man in front asked another question
"There were so many vultures there," Carter said.
"I tell you, there were two vultures that day, one in the photo and the other behind the camera."

Realizing the significance of these words, Carter became upset and eventually committed suicide.
Carter would be alive today if he had taken the starving baby to the United Mission's feeding center just 1/2 mile away, or if he had tried to reach the hungry girl.

Today, 26 years later, vultures are still returning from all over India with cameras in hand, taking
photos of workers walking thousands of kilometers.

These vultures care more about news that raises TRPs than worries about worker deaths.

They are busy collecting breaking news by pouring spices on the bodies of dead workers and children.
Kevin Carter had self-esteem, so he committed suicide. But this vulture under the name of this journalist is busy making breaking news with dignity.
