I'm told @WilmotTownship is working on putting together a statement denouncing the posters. Councillor Gordijk says there's an underbelly of racism that's always been in Wilmot, and this is not surprising. https://twitter.com/Cheryl4Ward2/status/1384901264786526208
'We, as a township, I don't believe we have done a good enough job in our leadership to let people know that racial hate crimes are not acceptable. Racial hate speech is not acceptable.' - Ward 2 Councillor Cheryl Gordijk
Speaking of leadership, no word from mayor @_LesArmstrong_ as of yet. Armstrong shared a video to social media last June with this exact phrase as the focus, garnering national attention and backlash. As far as my personal opinion goes:
This is not surprising. This is not new. This is still sickening, uneducated, and harmful. Councillor Gordijk and many others put it exactly right: white lives have always mattered.

This group, and groups like it, use fear and conspiracy theories as their tactics to garner support. They want to isolate and estrange people from reality and pander to their unconscious biases. But again, above all, fear. Just look at this text from their website:
I'm not sure what to add on this. If you find yourself agreeing with this group, you haven't been paying real, critical attention. Please read some books that make you uncomfortable. Actually, start with this thread: https://twitter.com/LoveWilmot/status/1351174998157885442
