This supercilious attitude from some supporters towards SKY, BT and the rest of the broadcasters and all who work for them is wearing very thin with me. Without Neville or Carragher having platform they do on SKY there’s no catalyst to halt plan to destroy the merit of football.

Neville was leading voice in ensuring ESL plans came to a screeching halt. You can hate SKY and the rest and all they stand for all you like but fact is without the platform they provide and without their voices we’d all be watching a football pyramid with nothing to play for.

Who you work for does not define who you are. It just means you’re trying to earn a living like everyone else & abusing people for making that living is not something I’m going to keep quiet about. Demount your high horses. If you want pure morality you’ll not find it in anything

It seems to me there’s certain people so desperately unhappy in their own lives that the only outlet they have is to abuse people they know nothing about on social media and moan about something. After a few days that united so many it’s saddening to see people revert to type.

Without SKY & the rest I’m not that little girl asking her Dad who guy with the upturned collar was or become girl who would devour every game or save everything I had begging my Dad to bring me to OT & I don’t get to fall in love with a football club that’s lasted my whole life.

So no I’m not from Manchester, maybe I’ve had no right to fall in love with the club when I’m not but you don’t get to decide on your club. It’s just something that is. And without tv companies beaming games across the water in the 90s I’d have missed out on a wonderful journey.
