why the story of Artemis and Selene, the goddesses of the moon, could be connected to the storyline of Enhypen’s border era— a short thread:

first of all, i am not an expert into all of this, diving into the story of greek myths are very vast and sometimes, could even cause loopholes if not properly researched but this is only based on the info that i found on the internet so feel free to add or correct me if needed.

Okay so in here, the woman seems to be missing an arm and on the right picture is a portrait of Artemis from Mytilene ( the goddess of the moon) who is missing an arm too ..

to start off, Selene and Artemis are both goddess of the moon but to simply put things, Selene is a Titan and Artemis is an Olympian. Artemis has a brother named Apollo, the sun god, and before Selene became a goddess, she was first a worshipper of Apollo.

Apollo then cursed Selene’s true love named Ambrogio, turning him into the FIRST vampire. This is where Artemis comes. Since Ambrogio is a vampire who gets his skin burned by the SUNLIGHT

Artemis, the moon goddess gave the couple the protection that they needed which resulted them into moving to Ephesus to worship and serve her.

Since Ambrogio is a vampire, it meant that he is also an immortal who doesn’t age. But for Selene’s case who was still a mortal, she eventually became old and sick. In exchange for their position, Artemis didn’t allow them to touch each other which was why they never had kids.

Then before Selene passed away, Artemis allowed the vampire Ambrogio to drink her blood. Their combined blood could create their "children" after Selene's death, essentially turning any human who drank the blood into a vampire.

And in this frame, you can see Sunoo holding a glass with what looks like a blood, this could essentially mean that they drank Ambrogio and Selene’s blood—making them vampires and children of the two.

Artemis was the protector of Selene and Ambrogio the vampire, so it would only make sense if she protects their vampire children too from the harm of the sun and to make things clearer, Artemis is actually A PROTECTOR OF CHILDREN TOO.

So to end this thread, I think they all did a good job connecting all of this and how the timeline suddenly made sense . . the storyline is quite unique, ending the border era by showing us how the very beginning .. if this theory is right ..
