✱ Clue ver Persona
• The first step in the process of individuation involves the Shadow, so why Persona?
• Before the process, we *think* we know who we are but we don’t.

• We have to face our Shadow bc we cannot proceed if there are things about ourselves that we deny or ignore.
• Our true Self is also our Soul, who we truly are once the veil of Maya is lifted.
• The Map of the Soul indicates the journey that we have to make to find our Soul.

✱ Route ver Youth
• Consciousness awakens gradually in youth.
• This photo reminds me of debut Bangtan, which is important.
• Individuation is an important goal of adolescence (debut Bangtan!!) but continues throughout life.
• The journey, the route, starts from youth!

• In MOTS, the boys kept going back to their beginnings esp with the rap line solo tracks sampling old songs aka they integrated all their Personas since the beginning.

✱ Route ver Ego
• Ego gives man a sense of identity.
• The route to the Self needs for the ego, the sense of “I” to be established.
• At the end of the journey of indivdiation, one finds the Self, and at its center is the ego - the conscious self within the greater Self.

I’m not sure if this makes sense but basically, we’ve seen throwbacks to previous eras all throughout MOTS.

The Route in discovering their identity (Ego) started from debut (Youth). The Clue to finding this identity is every Persona they’ve ever had in each era of their career.
