It was the morning of September 20th, 2006. Jeff Markin was on his way to work when he felt unwell and called his boss.

His boss was concerned and convinced Jeff to go straight to the hospital.

Jeff made it to the hospital and once he got there, he collapsed.

Dr. Chauncey Crandall, a cardiologist(Heart Doctor) was doing his rounds in the intensive care unit that morning.

He heard an alert from the P.A (Public Address System) that someone had arrived at the hospital with a deadly heart attack.

Then a second call went out over the P.A

and specifically asking for him because he was the only cardiologist on duty that morning.

When he arrived there, it was like a war zone, it was chaos as everybody was fighting to keep Jeff alive.

The ER staff worked on Jeff for 40minutes and shocked(Defibrillated) him 12 times

And despite their efforts, there was no response.

Once Dr. Crandall decided the team had done everything medically possible, he called the time of death and was declared "Dead".

A nurse prepared Jeffs body to be moved to the morgue(mortuary) and Dr. Crandall updated the charts.

As soon as he completed the note, he walked out of the emergency room and that was when he heard a voice say "Turn around and pray for this man".

Initially, he wanted to ignore as he thought to himself, "How can I pray for him, he's dead, he's gone and there's life in him".

So he kept walking and the voice came back to him saying "Turn around and pray for that man".

This time, he stopped, turned around, and walked to the side of Jeffs body.

The nurse preparing the body stopped and asked why he was there and what he was doing there.

He just stood next to the corpse and opened his mouth saying

"Father God, I cry out for this man's soul. If he does not know you as his Lord and personal savior, Father raise him from the dead now, in Jesus name".

The other doctor came in and Dr. Crandall asked him...

"Shock this man, one more time" and the doctor replied, "We can't shock him, he's dead and there's no life in him".

But Dr. Crandall pleaded with him and he finally agreed out of respect for him.

Immediately he was shocked, there was an instant heartbeat which was perfect and

regular. The abdomen started moving and started breathing and then moments later his fingers started twitching. HE IS ALIVE!!!

He was moved to the intensive unit and 3days later, Jeff woke up with no evidence of brain or organ damage.

Miracles are real and they are real today.

Dr. Crandall later wrote a book about this miraculous experience and titled it "RAISING THE DEAD".

Having a good doctor is GOOD but having a good doctor who believes in God remains the BEST!

Not just doctors but in every other career out there, add God and watch it BLOSSOM!
