You can see how desperate Labour are for the “sleaze” narrative to set in.

Sadly, I don’t think it will.

This government is rotten to the core but few who own the media benefit from said rotten government.

This isn’t 1997. Labour need another way. It starts in communities.

It’s why it was so utterly stupid & so naïve for @Keir_Starmer to wage war on the left & to treat @JeremyCorbyn the way he has.

What Jeremy achieved in 2017 was remarkable.

I know the anti-Corbyn brigade like to dismiss it &, in some cases ignore entirely, but it’s how we win.

A mass membership.

A mass membership full of hope.

A manifesto that is exciting, full of hope also & one that meets people’s needs.

A vision for a fairer, better, more equal & decent society.

And large groups of people willing to dedicate time & energy selling the message.

And I’ll make a prediction: no @UKLabour leader will win until @JeremyCorbyn has the whip returned & he is treated with the respect and decency he deserves.

A catastrophic error by @Keir_Starmer; the next leader must be wise enough to realise the support Jeremy still has.
