Done! No selfies here due to "hospital regulations" but it was quick and relatively painless.

Now, it's time to go home & reboot for the sweet 5G upgrade... I can't wait for the increased connectivity!!! 😉 #VaccinesInArms

Now, let's talk about why process is SO unbalanced...
I am a privileged white woman, with internet access, time to call around and have multiple appointments with doctors and the training of a medical secretary. I knew when I became elligible, and registered same day after a few calls.

But not everyone can do this. #COVID19Ontario
This has made the process intrinsically unfair and unbalanced to those without connectivity, executive functioning, accessibility or supports.

@TheWECHU has tried to make this more equitable with transit (THANK YOU!), extra staff and wheelchairs but booking barriers are real.
As we move through, I would love to see our family doctors be as important to COVID vax (and whatever comes at us in the future) as they are with the rest of our vaccination schedule.

They know their patients, their families, complex health conditions best and have the capacity.
We must learn from our mistakes.

In @fordnation there have been many... so let's take the lessons to heart and not repeat one so easily mitigated.

I hope you all get yours as soon as elligible and possible.â€đŸ™Œ
