The American spirit is most accurately represented by the pig

This isn't an insult; pigs are highly intelligent. Only when kept in captivity do they become lazy and fat. The moment they are removed from the domestic environment and thrust into the unforgiving wilderness, they transform into a hyper-adaptable killing machines.

The wild boar has been venerated since the stone age, especially by the Indo-Europeans. It was seen as embodying warrior virtues and possessing great, albeit reckless, power and determination.

So the question for my fellow Americans is:
Will you be domesticated, or feral?
