A(nother) message for whoever needs it: if you’re trying to clear/enhance/strengthen your energy centers (chakras, meridians, aura, etc.), don’t hold yourself to a rigid process. Just make it a part of your routine and stick to doing something for yourself in that area daily.
Intentions are great for helping you guide your energy, because even if you do nothing else but that, it shifts your awareness and helps you consciously guide the energy that you express. For example, cooking for yourself with the intention of clearing your sacral chakra…
will bring you a different experience and result, than intending to cook just because you don’t wanna starve. Not only are you consciously and unconsciously guiding more energy through that part of yourself, the unseen is quite aware of what’s going on, and will guide you too.
Clearing your energy centers isn’t a linear process. It’s more like breakdancing, or ballet. Every move sets up something else, begins a new journey, clears a new pathway. You can make a plan if you want, but once you dig into waking yourself up?
Well, man makes plans and God laughs.

You’ll laugh too when it’s all said and done. But if you think the things around you are going to guide you when it’s time to strip down and really listen to yourself?

God will definitely laugh first.
This isn’t supposed to be a stressful journey for you. Set your intentions and check in on yourself regularly. Make sure you’re moving, giving, and receiving like you want what you want. Life will bring stress that you are meant to manage. But the journey itself? Nah.
You’re supposed to be getting closer to yourself. So if you feel like you’re losing yourself, it’s time to slow down and reset. Make sure you’re staying true to who you know yourself to be right now.
Not the summation of all that you’ve ever been.
But who are you right now?
There will be chaos, but there will always be peace on the other side of it, as long as you continue listening to yourself and pushing through, instead of running away from your truths and fears.
So don’t let the idea of developing/refining your spirituality tighten you up.
It’s (ultimately) supposed to feel like coming home to yourself, like finding warmth and quiet after a long journey through a cold rainstorm.
If it’s taking you away from that place of peace? You need to ask yourself what it’s doing in your life.
