I've tried reading Holocaust books before, didn't manage. The trauma was overwhelming for me. This one is different. It's written in such a way that you can witness the trauma and still be hopeful for the human race. Go read it. 3/?

I knew it would be hard to anticipate how many tweets in this thread. While I was writing the above, the 18yo cat managed to dislocate his shoulder by trying to jump on my chair and getting stuck. Surprisingly he seems "fine" after I rescued him and placed the shoulder back. 5/?
He's been the longest supporter of my research, irrespective of the domain of study. He's teaching me that even when you're 126yo nothing will stop you to be your spirited self. It's been painful to watch. 6/?
