Just in case you forgot, wealthy, powerful, political Jamaicans are invested in keeping this country exactly how it is. They& #39;re not confused. They& #39;re highly educated, tactically silent, gaslighty, dismissive, patronizing little capitalists who aspire to be billionaires.

This country, the ideals they sell you with Grand Gala and Jamaica Day and history and stuff don& #39;t mean squat to them when it comes down to it. We are a means to an end. They will do the minimum to keep us off the brink of civil war and trap us in misery for one more big house.

I just don& #39;t want this to be played as a faux pas. Dem man are for the most part, brilliant, respected in their fields. They know how research and data works. They understand policy and political strategy. They are wily.

We have seen their mkstakes before. This is not a mistake. This is a fundamental difference of worldview we& #39;re witnessing here. We have different priorities. Some of us want to live, others are more indifferent about our chances of survival.
