After days of deaths and cries of helps from across the country which put everyone question NaMo govt godi media was gasping of air looking for something that can be dished out to its captive audience!

1/n
Expert of Shenanigans and charades they finally got their narrative through announcement of Reliance Industries ltd “700 tonnes per day supply with highlighted “Free of Cost” narrative!

2/n
Immediately entire IT cell started peddling tweets countering narrative of money hungry Ambanis and Adanis from the start of Kisan Andolan! Trying to prove in such a time when people are dying due to lack of oxygen it is Reliance only which is providing it free!

3/n
Obviously they were succeful in changing the direction of discussion from govt and its responsibility to aam admi vs Adanis and Ambanis! Here is my take on why I dislike these trolls more than my prime minister

4/n
(I believe NaMo might not be a good human but is extremely extremely cunning and expert of maneuvering)! I know we are gullible by nature and hence always been used by whomsoever sits in the power, but what about our scientific temperament!

5/n
When we know in business there is no free lunches why don’t we question this word “free”? Let me present facts!

6/n
While news of Reliance’s so called donation made round news of the biggest contributor in this catch up against inefficiency of govt vis-à-vis oxygen couldn’t grab the attention of ordinary public!

7/n
Nothing new compared with assurance of RIL 700 ton/day Steel Authority of India Limtied’s 33300 tonn already supplied is magnanimous!

@SAILsteel

8/n
And they have not stopped not only this there are IOC BPCL and others doing it every day (not that its their professional obligation but being PSUs they understand the need of our country)!

9/n
Coming back to the question on using the word “free”! To make these contributions looked magnanimous tonnage is used in place of price! NPPA capped the price of Medical Oxygen (MO) Ex-factory price at manufacturers end at Rs. 15.22/CUM and at filler end at 25.71/CUM

10/n
So per day even if filler end price is considered Reliance will be dishing out 50962/- per day wrt to SAIL which has already contributed 24,24,327/- free of cost and continue doing so without much fanfare!

11/n
Question now which comes to my mind, is 50K per day is too much or too less? Here comes the biggest twist! As per section 135 of companies act companies like RIL must contribute 2% of their average net profit of last three years!

12/n
Since its mandatory RIL needs to give 665 crore in CSR! Compare it with the fact that even if ot continues producing and providing free of cost MO every day for one whole year it comes to be 1.86 crore and yet it has 646.4 crore on which country has legal rights!

13/n
Considering it has already said it will be part of their CSR budget so no its not "free" its ours only!

14/n
Am I disregarding its efforts? Absolutely not cuz I have always said private and public both enterprises are equally important!

15/n
But when our PM and ministers always sing songs of valiant efforts of its private friends and looking to sell SAIL and other PSUs and PSBs I can't hold myself back but question the very 'intent' of this govt!

16/n
In present scenario entire health sector needs massive capacity building wrt fascilities no of beds and human resources! Considering the burgeoning task and time it will take to do so, only option availavle is
