This is the @jaketapper clip people were upset about, singling out Hillary Clinton for criticism during the Chauvin verdict watch.
It& #39;s not true that Hillary didn& #39;t know what BLM was when she was first asked about it - she said "Black Lives Matter" in a 2014 speech https://twitter.com/tommyxtopher/status/1296848089999904776">https://twitter.com/tommyxtop...
Also, BLM started in 2013 after Trayvon Martin& #39;s killer went free, but according to internet archive, it was not mentioned on a national newscast until after Ferguson.
Hillary was not ignorant of BLM, but a lot of Democrats were ignorant - if only for a second - about "All lives matter."

They were quickly educated.
This was Bernie Sanders being asked about Hillary Clinton and "all lives matter," and whether he would say Black Lives Matter:

"Phraseology. Of course I would use that phrase. Black lives matter, white lives matter, Hispanic lives matter." (6/24/15)

And here& #39;s Tapper reporting on Martin O& #39;Malley getting booed for saying “Black lives matter. White lives matter. All lives matter,”

To @donnabrazile "Can you explain why people would be mad at someone saying All Lives Matter?"
