I do love this kind of troll -
What makes you think I& #39;m not "working class"?
Try and answer that without being patronising. Some of read, write and can use big long word y& #39;know. https://twitter.com/BeardedBrownMa1/status/1384835202799783938">https://twitter.com/BeardedBr...

Honestly people who call themselves "working class" academics are the worst purveyors of IDPOL. Have a bit of self-awareness. No one else outside academia see& #39;s you in that way so suck it up and moan to your middle class colleagues in the academy about it where it is relevant.
It& #39;s relative. If I go back to my home town with an LLM and a career working in national museums, is anyone gonna see me as being in the same & #39;social class& #39; as when I left and how I grew up? No they& #39;re not. That& #39;s just something I need to accept. Caught between two places.
My last job in my town was working in the Avon warehouse and now I work for places I& #39;d never even heard off before I went to Uni as a mature student. I make sure the work I do centres working class histories but it would be silly to pretend I am still the girl in the warehouse.
