One thing this whole super league saga has shown me is that we’re all hypocrites, if I’m honest and it’s all down to social media.

We all believe what we wanna believe and disregard anything else. If I tweet tomorrow on an account with 10 followers that JWH has agreed to donate millions to food banks in Liverpool, people will call it bs and question the credibility.

If I then tweet on that same account that JWH has said he’s disgusted at LFC fans for not wanting the SL to happen, no one will ask for credibility or sources. They’ll believe it off the bat.

I don’t for one second believe Sky had an inside source during all of this that was magically telling them exactly what would keep the fans angry (that the owners don’t care about the fans and only want money). They know no one will question their credibility.

This isn’t me saying you shouldn’t be furious at the owners because social media wants you to be angry. This is me saying make your own fucking mind up. Don’t go by what sky or any other journalist with an ‘inside source’ has to say.
