India's Agricultural Sector employs 42 percent of India's working population and contributes 16.5 percent to the country's GDP 👩🏻‍🌾👨🏿‍🌾
"Indian Agriculture is dominated by small and marginal land holdings. About 86.2 percent of holdings are less than 2 hectares that account for 47.3 percent of operated area." 🚜🌽👨🏿‍🌾
"Agricultural exports, in nominated US dollar, have increased from USD 6.1 billion in 2001/02 to USD 43.6 billion in 2013/14"⬆️

"Cost of food subsidy was INR 4.22 lakh crore (USD 57 billion) in 2020/21 and is provisioned to be INR 2.42 lakh crore (USD 37 billion) in 2021/22"💰
