I have research some Indian brands that have created an international image. I hope you like that and feel proud to be an Indian. More Indian brands will be added to my next blog.
Indian Brand - Old Monk Rum
Old Monk Rum is quality dark rum made by traditional method, blended for 7 years. In the manufacturing process of Old Monk Rum only the original rum mixtures are used, some of which may be 50 years old.
This ensures the original Old Monk Rum taste that has remained genuine for nearly a century.

The sweet aroma of the beverage has notes of caramel, chocolate, ripe peach, and vanilla. The taste of Old Monk Rum is not as sweet as the sweet aroma may refer to.
Although the beverage has 42.8% alcohol by volume spirit, it has a soft taste. Besides the dominant flavor of roasted coffee beans and vanilla also spicy hints provided by storage of rum in the charred oak barrels can be felt.
The color of Old Monk Rum is deep brown-black and it has a creamy consistency. Unique handy bottles are handmade. Therefore, each of them is slightly differences.
Old Monk Rum is the only one that does not fall over in the boat. The ancient seafarers’ drink will stay in upright position in even in the very stormy weather in any watercraft thanks to the low and wide form of the bottle
The history of Mohan Meakin Ltd., the producer of Old Monk Rum, dates back to the year 1855, when the Scotsman Sir Edward Dyer originally founded the brewery at Kasauli, Himachal Pardes, in India to meet the demand for beer of the Britons.
In a while the owners of the brewery were changed and it became known as distillery Mohan Meakin Ltd., the representatives of that dynasty are the leaders of the company until today.
Old Monk Rum is one of the world’s oldest as well as the most widely sold one all over the world. It was first launched on the market in 1935.
Due to the strong impact of the British (the British East India Company from 1601 to 1874), Old Monk Rum became one of the most popular beverages among dark rums in the world and the most demanded one in India. The success of the brand continues until today.
Indian Brand - Royal Enfield
Royal Enfield is an Indian multinational motorcycle manufacturing company with the tag of "the oldest global motorcycle brand in continuous production"  manufactured in factories in Chennai in India.
Licensed from Royal Enfield by the indigenous Indian Madras Motors, it is now a subsidiary of Eicher Motors Limited, an Indian automaker.
The company makes classic-looking motorcycles including the Royal Enfield Bullet, Classic 350, Meteor 350, Classic 500, Interceptor 650, Continental and many more. Royal Enfield also make adventurous and offroading motorcycles like Royal Enfield Himalayan.
Their motorcycles are equipped with single-cylinder and twin-cylinder engines.

First produced in 1901, Royal Enfield is the oldest motorcycle brand in the world still in production, with the Bullet model enjoying the longest motorcycle production run of all time.
Indian Brand - Cafe' Coffee Day

Café Coffee Day Global Limited Company is a Chikkamagaluru-based business that grows coffee in its own estates of 20,000 acres. It is the largest producer of arabica beans in Asia, exporting to various countries including U.S., Europe, and Japan.
V. G. Siddhartha started the café chain in 1996 when he incorporated Coffee Day Global, which is the parent of the Coffee Day chain. The first CCD outlet was set up on July 11, 1996, at Brigade Road, Bangalore, Karnataka.
It rapidly expanded to other cities in India, with more than 1,000 cafés open across the nation by 2011.
In 2010, it was announced that a consortium led by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts would invest ₹1,000 crores (equivalent to ₹18 billion or US$250 million in 2019) in Coffee Day Resorts, owned by the company.
The same year, the logo was changed to the current logo, which the company stated was to showcase the chain as a place to talk. This was done with major changes in the layout of the stores, including the addition of lounges and a total revamp of the interiors.
Indian Brand - La Opala
La Opala RG Limited was incorporated in India in the year June 11th, 1987. The Company is a leading manufacturer and marketer of lifestyle products in the tableware segment. It has spread the wings beyond the domestic arena and ventured into the leading market of the world.
Promoted by Sushil Jhunjhunwala and Ajit Jhunjhunwala La Opala Glass is involved in the business of manufacturing opal ware -- La Opala -- one of the well-established crockery brands in India.
The Kolkata-based company has a wide network of dealers and retailers and a large marketing field force.
It is the second-largest crockery manufacturer in the country.
La Opala went public in Feb.'95 with an issue of 8.50 lac equity shares aggregating Rs 340 lac and the proceeds were used by financing project with Doosan Glass South Korea to gain the exclusive right to use the technical know-how information and data for the manufacture and…

The company's products are exported to East Asian and African countries. The company made a diversification in the field of glass tableware by producing 24% PbO(lead oxide) lead crystalware at Madhupur Bihar.
In Mar.'96 the company commenced commercial production of Crystalware project with an installed capacity of 540 tpa.
The merger of Radha Glass & Industries Ltd with the company was successfully concluded with effect from 1st January 1999 following which company was renamed as La Opala RG Limited.
In 1999-2000 for the first time in the Indian tableware industry, the company's exclusive showroom was opened in Kolkata which has been highly acclaimed by its customers.
Indian Brand - Lakme
It was started in 1952 famously because then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru was concerned that Indian women were spending precious foreign exchange on beauty products and personally requested JRD Tata to manufacture them in India.
Simone Tata joined the company as a director and went on to become the chairperson. In 1996, Tata sold off their stakes in Lakmé Lever to HUL, for Rs 200 Crore (45 million US$).
In the Brand Trust Report 2012, Lakme was ranked 104th among India's most trusted brands, and the following year it was ranked 71st on the list. In 2014, Lakme was ranked 36th among India's most trusted brands according to the Brand Trust Report 2014.
The company is the title sponsor for Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) a bi-annual fashion event that takes place in Mumbai.
Indian Brand - Masala Monk

Indian Brand - Jaguar & Land Rover
Ford owned Jaguar Cars, also buying Land Rover in 2000, until 2008 when it sold both to Tata Motors. Tata created Jaguar Land Rover as a subsidiary holding company.
At the operating company level, in 2013 Jaguar Cars was merged with Land Rover to form Jaguar Land Rover Limited as the single design, manufacture, sales company and brand owner for both Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles.
Indian Brand - Flying Machine

Indian Brand - Amrut Single Malt

Amrut is a brand of Indian single malt whisky, manufactured by Amrut Distilleries. It is the first single malt whisky to be made in India.
Amrut Fusion Single Malt Whisky Wins the title of World's Third Best Whisky. Leading whisky expert, Jim Murray has named an Indian malt the third-best in the world in his new Whisky Bible.
In The Whisky Bible 2010 published this week, Murray awards Amrut Fusion Single Malt Whisky the title of World's Third Best Whisky.
