Alright, so after years of using Twitter passively I’ve decided I’ll start sharing my experience working on Hansker: my personal project where I’m trying to create an ergonomic mouse that doesn’t look like sh!t
I got the idea of working on this project years ago, when I realized most ergonomic devices look like ugly spaceships or ironing machines.
Last week, I posted about it on LinkedIn to recruit some subjects for the qualitative study I’m working on, and the post got quite a bit of traction and landed me 7 users for the study: perfect!
If you’re interested in jumping on a 20-30 min call with me to talk about your behavior as a user of ergonomic mice, please DM me or respond to this thread!
If you don’t use ergonomic mice I’m also interested in hearing your perspective and learning from you, so also hit me up :)
I will launch a Kickstarter campaign in the upcoming months to try and fund this little project of mine. Now working on a “subscribe” landing page to notify those who are interested in giving this mouse a try
It’s being super fun – and challenging – to take care of all the variables that go into a physical product: industrial/mechanical design, manufacturing, funding, firmware, distribution plan... Jesus, working on software makes things SO much easier
