i haven’t seen the bad batch leak but i’ve got the general gist of it and i’ve got ... thoughts. content warning for the rest of this thread (?) idk i’m discussing the leak

we didn’t see much of the bad batch in the clone wars but we’re given the idea that they’re a close-knit team. each knows the others strengths and weaknesses and utilise this to garner results. brothers, to sum it up.

now because of their dynamic, i’m sceptical of crosshair “betraying” them (at least that’s what the leak was about, i think). i definitely think cross will stay with the empire, but i’m betting on it being more of a,,, sacrifice (?) play. he stays to play double agent.

his skill-set, out of the squad, is best suited for spying - the only other person i’d say could do it is hunter, but he’s the ‘leader’ and thus off the table. i think crossy stays behind to gain access to imperial information to help his brothers, and to stay a step ahead.

whether or not he discussed this plan w the others ... maybe he didn’t. by making the “betrayal” believable he’d avoid active suspicion from the empire. staying w the empire also let’s him keep tabs on cody, and with rex involved - i really doubt we Won’t be seeing him.

anyway, end of thread for now. also, can someone send me the actual leak so that i can FINALLY see it.
