We get a lot of questions as to why public speaking and Communication is so important. Why do you have to master it? What's the big deal if you can already talk?

Well, this thread is for you...
First off, there's a HUGE difference between TALKING and SPEAKING. While talking is merely being verbally expressive,

speaking is being verbally expressive with the aim of stirring action in the recipient.
Now, the benefits of speaking and Communicating effectively goes beyond just looking and feeling confident.

If you're in business, you have an added advantage.

How? We'll tell you...
The term "Communication" transcends just verbal expressions, it extends to writing and other forms of passing messages across.

If you're in business, one thing is for sure, you need social media to attract clients

And what does social media run on?:
Social media runs on communicative texts and pictures.

So if you master the art of effective Communication, you would understand the intricacies of getting through to your target clients.

And selling your product or services like crazy!
That's why huge multi-billion dollar companies invest in catchy slogans .

They understand the effects of proper and effective communication so they spend on ads and taglines to COMMUNICATE what they're offering..
THREE MILLION NAIRA is how much Lily Water spent on their slogan back in the early 2000's.

And what was their slogan:

"From the source, you can trust"

They sold tons of bottles of water because they realized EVERYONE wanted water they could trust.
MTN needed people to know that their Network was omni-present, so they invested in communicating that through their taglines and ads:

"MTN, everywhere you go".

So what if their slogan was

"MTN, the best network"

That would be BAD Communication.
So you see, if you're in business, effective communication is Paramount

There are several strategies most entrepreneurs and business people miss when putting themselves out there.

If you learn the psychology of Communication, you give your business an edge
