I really want to have a discussion on this bodycam footage of Mi'khia's death. I looked over it and analyzed it. For those who can't watch and for those who are saying Mi'khia's death was justified.

first off, Ma'khia did have a knife, and it does appear that she was going to stab the girl in pink but there were multiple things that couldve been done to deescalate the situation.

In the police officer's footage, we see that he never calls out for her to drop the knife, he
just immediately pulls out his gun and shoots. Not only that, but the officer also never made an attempt to pull out a taser, I saw someone say that tasers don't work through clothes, and that the officer couldnt have used one,
But what officers actually carry aren't tasers, theyre stun guns. This is a picture of one and its different parts, basically it shoots two little probes that electricute you. Those probes can go through normal shortsleeved tshirts, which is what Mi'khia is wearing in the video,
and thicker fabrics too.

The officer went IMMEDIATELY for his gun, when he could've pulled out his stun gun just as fast, and was also completely reckless with it. He could've shot the girl in pink super easily.
Something I also want to point out, the girl in pink and assumingly the other girl who was shoved were there trying to start a fight wih Mi'khia. We don't know what the other girl could've said or done whilst the officers back was to mikhia and the girl in pink. The girl in pink
could've dont something that we didn't see whilst the officers back was turned/attention to the guy who shoved the girl.
It wasn't just one shot either, or a shot to an arm or a leg, it was multiple shots to the chest. Mi'khia was already on the ground and he still had his gun pointed at her. Also when the officer is turning, we can see his finger is already on the trigger, ready to shoot.
Don't let people tell you that this couldn't have gone any other way, or that Mi'khia is in the wrong here. The officer used a disgusting use of force on Mi'khia, who was a 15 year old CHILD, this isn't protecting and serving, its murder.
