Not sure I’m righteous enough to be an @LFC fan. I just don’t feel the same anger at “business decisions” that don’t fit with our values. I think we expect too much sometimes. There is no malice in @John_W_Henry, just a businessman trying to maximise his asset. We move.

The old “careful what you wish for” comes to mind. Would you be angry if a corrupt sheik or oligarch came in and ploughed in loads of cash year after year,,, while breaching human rights and destroying lives away from here? Where do these exceptionally strong values start/stop?

Basically what we are saying is:

John - spend money, but your money, not ours, and spend it quickly, and don’t expect it back. Spend more than we earn. Don’t question us. Don’t question our integrity or values.

Also don’t change anything to make that money.

Basically be Sheik Mansoor (minus the fact they don’t have any core values)

But also don’t do anything that goes against our beliefs to make the money you are happy to write off.
