There are many post about how developers should approach publishers, but not so many the other way around. I am not looking for a publisher right now but since I have been contacted by quite a few, I thought I would share some things I appreciated when talking to publishers >
Might sound a bit snarky but I do appreciate it when you get my name correct.

When publishers who have started a conversation have dedicated time and effort to continue it in a somewhat frequent manner untill we find common ground on how to move forward.

Absolutely would worship a publisher who could share a reference pitch, including prototype.
