đŸ§” @theSamParr made at least $50K in profit every time he hosted a HustleCon conference.

Here are some insights on how you can do the same 👇
1. Get Volunteers

As soon as you launch your event, people will contact you wanting to volunteer. You get service and they get free admission and access to your speakers/audience.
2. Find a Venue That’s Not Union-Owned

Sam was able to use those volunteers because he finds venues that aren’t union-owned. That means he doesn’t have to pay for their employees or use their food. (Big $$ savings.)
3. Ticket Sales are Lopsided

20% of your sales come in the first 5-7 days and then 20-30% comes in the last 4-5 days.

You need to make sure that you perform well in the initial launch and then stay level-headed as you wait for the final wave.
4. Charge More Than You Want

If you want your average sale price to be $100, then set your tickets at $250 and offer discounts to meet that average sale price. It increases the perceived value of your event.
5. Give Discounts Early and Often

You want to have 3-5 tiers of pricing (i.e. Early early bird, early bird, late, seriously late). You’ll see spikes in purchases each time a new ticket tier ends.

Sam would send 2-3 reminders a day that the tier was closing.
6. It’s a Numbers Game

Think of it like an ecomm page.

Expect a 3% conversion rate. If you want to make $100,000, you need to get 33,333 people to your website assuming an average sale price of $100. ($100,000 / $100 / 0.03)

Now get that many people to your website.
7. On Finding Speakers

Sam surprisingly has only ever paid for one speaker. He reached out to the founder of Pandora to speak at the conference. He then leveraged that speaker to get more speakers.

All it takes is one yes to get rolling.
