In their statements 3 #NFL teams refer to the "the senseless murder" of #GeorgeFloyd ( @Broncos; @BuffaloBills; @washingtonnfl) while @RamsNFL refers to his murder.

His murder is not explicitly acknowledged by any other team in their statement

Some teams such as @Broncos & @WashingtonNFL explicitly acknowledge the "guilty verdict", another 6 teams speak about "the verdict".

Meanwhile @NFL only speaks about "today's outcome" as code for #ChauvinIsGuilty #ChauvinTrial #NFL

The @Vikings chose not to refer to the trial or the verdict instead only referring to "today's decision" though they dont acknowledge #ChauvinIsGuilty. They also dont mention George Floyd's name.

Of the 15 #NFL team statements, 8 directly name George Floyd while 7 do not including @vikings but also the @Raiders who are trying to be smart but end up being crass and tasteless.

Meanwhile the @Patriots and @Titans serve up nothing burgers.

It was late when I made this thread and I that the @Saints also acknowledged George Floyd's murder. Thus 5 NFL teams do the others being @Broncos @BuffaloBills @washingtonnfl @RamsNFL
