I've decided the older generations are really messed up when it comes to how they view human lives.
I read way too many comments on a tweet about banning crib bumpers from people who think it was fine that babies died when bumpers were common because it wasn't all babies. I mean they didn't die so obviously it's fine.
They're the first to argue over covid deaths not being a big deal. They will defend a police shooting no matter what. Actual human lives are just nothing. Why are they so twisted when it comes to death?
We're constantly called soft because we care if people live or die and what the quality of life is like for all people. How dare we want the world to be a better place for everyone and not just ourselves!!
On top of that they are just as quick to bring up Jesus and prayer. Idk. It all gets to me. Love thy neighbor but only the ones you think are worthy.
