Wanna subtweet...
...so far trying really hard not to subtweet
Eh, very light subtweet:
Radicals: most of us liberals truly do not disagree with what you want. Maybe on a few counts, but not meaningfully more than radicals disagree among themselves on goals.

We liberals believe you will lose if you try to go for it fast. *this does suck!*
But like we are not actually believing you will be guillotining anyone and are afraid we will be guillotined. We are afraid you will close off avenues of change and then fail by attempting violence.
More broadly, for me personally I find a constant deluge of anger to be somewhat useless. Maybe it’s great if you’re in the cities and you do protest or direct whatever. *I literally can’t right now*, and I will never feel safe doing so
So to me, I guess the thing that is most troubling to me in terms of a divide with my radical friends is, I feel like you think I’m a fascist-lite for wanting to work with the system, and you think... that I think you’re a direct physical threat to people, or evil. I don’t
I feel as if by simply being in marginalized communities online as they become radicalized, I am filled with more and more rage and fear I pick up parasocially, I literally can’t filter more words on here, and the only escape is to log off and be alone
I’m not saying anyone is at fault here, but I really, really wish - and this isn’t a commentary on the events in MN tonight or anything else, just generally the events of this year - I wish my friends would learn to accept sometimes good things happen
