I've been totally sleeping on HBO's "Barry"!

I'll click on anything w/ Bill Hader's face & lucked into binging this show for the past two days.

Can't wait for more of Barry's bloody journey w/ stand-in father figures as he weighs whether people truly can change in season 3!

Also, Anthony Carrigan plays a queer member of a crime syndicate so unlike his role as Gotham's Victor Zsasz that you'll get whiplash if you go in expecting a simple typecast.

His portrayal of Hank is simultaneously hilarious and endearing.

I also feel like Barry is everyone who is trying to make a mid-life career shift into something totally different when they realize what they're good at isn't necessarily what they want, nor is it the only path.

That first staircase of reinvention is a doozy.
