...of the situation tonight the language around "stepping aside" and "exhausting" in particular was at very best, entirely insensitive so I apoolgise for that and that& #39;s one reason I pulled these

...people should be satisfied with the conviction and that being cynical (rightfully so) is wrong. I did not mean that but the tweet definitely reads that way and was interpeted that way so I also am apoligising for that. But to be honest the main reason I& #39;m pulling...
...the tweet is the absolutely distracting and intolerable discourse that has been spawned from it, with a bunch of people agreeing with my tweet in the replies promoting frankly abbhorent positions, and this is just distracting from bipoc voices being heard about...

Also this has made all my mutuals feeds just ultra toxic today and absolutely no one needed that. I in no way needed to weigh in on this as a white dude and even if my take was the best in the entire world it was still unnecessary...
