I have lost so much respect for the medical profession since the beginning of Covid. Stories like this are enraging. https://twitter.com/sociopathlete/status/1384669628589166596">https://twitter.com/sociopath...
I read another where a woman gave birth to her stillborn baby *alone* because her husband was not allowed in and the doctors and nurses spent as little time with their patients as possible because they were afraid.
She slipped into a coma shortly after and her husband was notified that he had to make arrangements for the baby’s body plus prepare himself for his wife’s probable death-but he couldn’t go see her.
The way she describes how she felt human again once the extreme isolation was lifted and she was able to see her husband and other children for a few minutes a dat after two months alone! The inhumanity of it all just makes me so angry.
But we are constantly told that doctors and nurses on ‘the front line’ are heroes. How they were so kind and hooked their patients up with ipads so they could say goodbye before they died.
That’s not kindness, that’s cruelty.
Yeah, no. After the first month or so of confusion, they could have figured out how to allow their patients to see their families. The rules in place were not there to care for and protect patients, they were there to protect healthcare workers.
The same healthcare workers who told you to stay at home while they encouraged or even went out and joined BLM protests.
Honestly just thinking of all the people who died alone just makes me sad and angry. They deserved better. That’s all.
