Struck by "who all thought they were the only ones." You have to understand—that we think this doesn't mean we believe we're special. We think it because we blame ourselves. That's how they get away with it. You can't imagine someone you think so highly of would be this way.
Also thinking about how Peyton had to watch the New York Times publish no less than four stories praising Bailey. And that's just one outlet. The experience of the past few weeks must have been awful for these women.
