Completed another playable group for Bhakashal today, the Togmu (frog people).

The Togmu are a primarily urban group in Bhakashal, though they can be found in the marshes as well, many of their group moved to the city and established permanent residence there years ago.
Many of the Togmu are chefs, at the most common inns and taverns and in some of the finest, Togmu chefs are unparalleled. Given the likelihood of poisoning, some of the most important people in Bhakashal have a Togmu as a personal chef.
Many are also tailors, and in a city such as Bhakashal, where elaborate and outre dress is a signifier of power, they have the ears of the mighty. The Togmu community thus has connections to people in power, and maintain a network of communication...
... between them that is very efficient. Harm to any member of the Togmu community will not long remain a secret. Togmu warlocks, though comparatively rare, have the most vivid and striking clothing.
1. Physical Description
Togmu are on average 4 feet tall, and all have webbed fingers and toes, as well as nictating membranes over the eyes. Some have “fans” behind their heads that can spread out when threatened, and all have the vocal sac under their mouths.
2. Ability Bonuses
+1 to DEX, +1 to WIS

3. Class
The most popular classes amongst the Togmu are Spider, Thaumaturge and Vox.

4. Skills
Togmu are accomplished cooks and tailors, as well as being experienced in plant and small animal breeding.
5. Abilities
Togmu may jump 40’ forward, 30’ up or 20’ backwards, or fall from up to 50’ without harm. Togmu move at 12” on land and 15” in water, they are amphibious, and in marshland or urban environments they surprise on a 3 in 6 and are only surprised on a 1 in 6.
When fighting L creatures, they get a 2 point AC bonus.

6. Appearance
Togmu are natty dressers, many make their own clothing and they are fond of waistcoats, vests, pants with hidden pockets, cloaks and fine fabrics for everything they wear.
They match clothing color with their various skin colors, using the clothing to create bold contrasts and compliments. They also have a fondness for rings for fingers and toes (due to the webbing, rings fit near the end of fingers).
7. Technology
Togmu often use walking canes and wear monocles or glasses, whether needed or not, and are skilled with small, mechanical devices like clockwork. All Togmu get the abilities of a first level Spider with technology (figuring out, fixing, creating)...
... as well as find/remove traps and open locks, and those with an intelligence of 15 or higher are as sages with a minor field in mechanical technologies. The most common Togmu weapons are the dagger and the sling.
8. Custom
Togmu are eloquent and place considerable value on what is said, both out loud and in private, and as a result are often cautious about what they say, taking time to respond to questions and feeling no immediacy to do otherwise.
When they talk however, they tend to be focused and detailed in their commentary.

9. Art - Togmu artists create fabric art with elaborate dyes made from plant extracts, they create both clothing and fabric screens that are set in homes near windows that receive light...
... and take on different shades at different times of day, also providing relief from the infernal marshland sun. Togmu fabric screens are often placed on the sides of saddle canopies to block sunlight.
10. Gods - Nareen (Darkness, Rebirth), Iallus (Moon, Light, Creativity), Vekka (Water/Lake ) and Bemmarg (Family, Food, Marriage) are popular gods with the Togmu.

11. Virtue - Togmu take great pride in their work, treating their creations as expressions of themselves...
... they will go to great lengths to complete and preserve anything they create, and will take aspersions on their craft deeply personally. False pride (someone that boasts but does not have the skill) is considered deeply offensive.
