Yeah, I’m good off social media for the night. Another Black child gone. Another life lost. #MakiyaBryant. There is no justification for a cop shooting and killing a 15 year old girl that called them for help, then yelling “Blue Lives Matter.”

If you are a cop, re-evaluate your job. Who you work for. The system you believe in. Police are murdering Black children. If you are scared of a child, pick another career. We are being murdered at unprecedented rates.

We do NOT believe you are here to protect and serve.

Black folk, please protect and pray over your children tonight. Hug them. These police do not care if they’re a child, and will continuously reframe the narrative of young Black bodies. She was not a “young woman” that “lost her life.” She was a child that was murdered.

And if I am misspelling her name incorrectly, I apologize. I am seeing variations of her name. Please watch over the family of #makhiabryant
