If you suffer from tweeter's block..

I eventually overcame it.

Here are 4 steps to never run out of twitter ideas again:
ok, so you sit down to write a tweet.

you feel like Ernest fricken Hemingway.

You get ready to dip your quill pen into ink and compose the most beautiful masterpiece to ever grace the internet.

You tap out a few words.

You delete it.

You do it again.

You delete it.
After doing this 57 more times, you angrily close the bird app.

You repeat this process for a week straight.

In that time, you glumly watch all your twitter friends who seemingly have unlimited ideas

And you have no idea what is wrong with you..

Welcome to Tweeter's block
We've all been there.

Well I got great news for ya...

keep reading to pick up your keys to the twitter idea paradise
STEP 1: Find your Twitter inspirations

These are the people you'll be studying to inspire your next next tweet ideas.

For me:

@TrungTPhan (he also makes me laugh)
@alexgarcia_atx
@ShaanVP
@gregisenberg
@JamesClear
@Julian
@SahilBloom
@dickiebush
Every time you come across one of their great tweets, use this @sweatystartup process:

1) Jot it down
2) Think on it
3) Make it better
4) Re-write
5) Schedule it out

You aren't COPYING.

You're filling your head with topics and ideas. https://twitter.com/sweatystartup/status/1350981986286858240?s=20
STEP 2: Be a Coal Miner like @AliAbdaal's

A content coal mine is a blog, newsletter, youtube channel, subreddit, or podcast that has great ideas.

You "mine" for ideas by scouring these places.

Some places to start for people that love business stories + tech:
Blogs:

@waitbutwhy
@david_perell
•  @tferriss go search his oldest articles from '07
•  @JamesClear
•  @nateliason
Podcasts:

@myfirstmilpod with @ShaanVP + @theSamParr
@patrick_oshag with Invest like the Best
• gems from old @tferriss episodes
Newsletters:

• Dickie's Digest with @dickiebush
• Monday Medley @nateliason
• The Profile @polina_marinova
• 3-2-1 with @JamesClear
• Not Boring @packyM
STEP 3: Twitter Advanced Search

Here's what I do:

1) Google Twitter advanced search and then go to "from these accounts".

2) Type in one of your favorite people to follow

2) Filter by minimum 500 or 1k likes

3) Scroll through their best tweets
Then go use @sweatystartup's remixing process to add your own spin.

Here's an example:
I found this tweet from @APompliano that went super viral in 2018 https://twitter.com/APompliano/status/977517031976259584?s=20
I thought... wow these lists are great.

Why don't I add my own spin?

So I did with a little humor twist at the end: https://twitter.com/chrishlad/status/1384130505956724736?s=20
And that's a wrap.

To recap:

1) Find your twitter inspirations + remix
2) Mine for content
3) Use advanced search
4) Become an internet archaeologist
