Brother George Floyd was assassinated for being Black.
The very ROOT ESSENCE of his murder is that cops robbed his God given sovereignty, agency, & right to life, even his human right to self-defense to protect his life.

To say that he “sacrificed” himself implies three FALSE things that minimize the reach and depth and universality in the lynchings of Black folk:
1) That he died willfully.
2) Therefore, he partly did this to himself.
3) He could have prevented his own death.

These misrepresent the essence of anti-Black state-murder:
The US police — including Chauvin’s 3 collaborators, who STILL REMAIN unaccountable — DEPRIVED Brother Floyd of his human SOVEREIGNTY to fight for his life, which Pelosi’s self-interested speechifying implicitly denies.
