Latham hearings - Like many of the speakers with actual expertise, Dr Tania Ferfolja brings up Thatcher's clause 28, which prohibited discussion of homosexuality in UK schools for decades, caused unimaginable damage to young people & prevented teachers from helping them.

Prof Dianna Kenny was a music therapist concentrating on performance anxiety. Since being let go by Uni of Sydney, she's switched to anti-trans conspiracies & self-publishes. But she's got "Prof" in her name, so has been commandeered by The Australian as a gender expert

Kevin Donnelly is another 'expert' for anti-trans coverage in 'The Australian' (no qualifications) He also pushed cigarettes in schools while employed by the Phillip Morris company. He's here to advise on education today.

Music therapist ducks into the "rapid onset gender dysphoria" (ROGD) conspiracy, which was based on a paper that was removed from a journal when it was discovered that the 'sample' was a blog targeted at parents opposed to 'gender ideology'. This is 5G Bill Gates stuff, folks.

Unemployed music therapist continues her social contagion random anecdotes - "has heard of" schools where 25% of students self-declare as trans. You just know she'll be saying 35% by tomorrow, conspiracies need to be kept warm.

Cigarette salesman : "Heteronormativity is the natural order of events".

Everything that Music Therapist is saying about gender dysphoria was based on a paper that was immediately withdrawn due to appalling research methodology

. @ShoebridgeMLC points out that music therapist's views are completely opposed by the peak psychological body in Australia. Music therapist says "They've been taken over by gender eye-dee-ology!"

Next up : noted childcare experts, the Catholic Church. Note that the large Catholic Diocese of Parramatta made a submission opposing the bill, but their request to appear was rejected. Latham needs to maintain the myth of majority religious support for his trans-bashing bill .

So here are the Catholic views that Latham (who constantly runs himself as a voice for western Sydney) didn't want represented today.

One of the many problems with this inquiry is the constant use of undefinable far-right buzz phrases such as "gender ideology", with ppl searching for the "existence" of this within schools - obviously no-one can confirm/deny the appearance of Murdoch shorthand in the real world

Catholic Schools NSW CEO Dallas McInerney says they can ban 'gender ideology' in the classroom but still counsel students with gender dysphoria. @ShoebridgeMLC points out that the bill bans such counselling as well. Kinda a big whoopsies.

Things explode when @ShoebridgeMLC brings up the Catholic child sexual abuse bogeyman when asking if the speakers would support parents withdrawing children from consent classes. Catholic Schools CEO accuses Shoebridge of using inappropriate 'wedge issues'

Latham's approach to every witness who opposes the bill : he pre-searches the history of their organisations to find something he finds objectionable, however irrelevant, & talks about that instead of their evidence.

Amber Flohm from NSW Teachers Federation says the Latham bill would completely destroy trust between teachers & students

Zoe Robinson, NSW Advocate for Children and Young People, starts with quotes from children commenting on their fears about Latham's anti-trans bill.

Latham once again shifts the subject to some "White Lies Matter" school posters that he personally briefed the Daily Telegraph about for a beat-up article today. This whole inquiry is not just about his personal "gender fluidity" gripes, its about raising his profile in general.

. @ShoebridgeMLC keeps referring to 17c, which means that even school counsellors could be fired for supporting trans & gender diverse kids. This is the real evil of the Latham bill, that it systematically removes protections for kids even outside of the classroom.

Latham knocking down kids' representations on the bill because the "The Office of the Children's Guardian" office is in East Sydney; yet refused to allow the Parramatta Catholic Church diocese to appear because they oppose the bill. Uses perceived class when it suits his needs.
