Some people are unbelievable 
For whatever reasons people in Maryland and the surrounding areas, are turning horses loose into the wild. They are being hit by cars, found with broken legs, found starved or covered in cuts from running through the woods.
For whatever reasons people in Maryland and the surrounding areas, are turning horses loose into the wild. They are being hit by cars, found with broken legs, found starved or covered in cuts from running through the woods.
This young lady has started a rescue to take these horses in and rehabilitate them before they suffer these injuries, and to recover the horses already released. If you know any "horse people" who would like to help they could sure use it

They have a good operation set up but are being overwhelmed by increase in abandoned horses.
All those western movies I've seen never told me how expensive caring for horses is, especially ones that have been abused/neglected.

People have very kindly asked for an address to send donations. They only provide a physical address to person's they have built a relationship with. This is entirely a female run enterprise and people have caused trouble in the past.

One of the ladies was attacked in the barn by a guy who showed up and said he wanted riding lessons for his daughter. Just some real scumbags out there. So they are cautious and I said I would help them as much as I could. They're nice people and have a good heart 
This is "Z", he was abused and left locked in his stall to starve to death. He won't sleep indoors or go near a stall now. He's putting on some weight but he will only run in circles and he stays in sight of people, probably thinks they'll leave him again
