Accolades so far (w/ 17 sports still competing): 3 National Team Champions, 7 Conference Championships, 4 NCAA National Champions, >65 All-Americans and many PAC12 athlete/coach of the year. @36SportsStrong

2/3 Of these highlights, 4/11 cut teams that have completed seasons have contributed 1 National Team Championship, 1 National Champion, and 4 All-Americans as well as two Coaches of the Year, PAC12 Athlete of the Year, National Athlete of the Year and PAC12 Newcomer of the Year.

3/3 So is the real reason to cut the teams with lowest annual budgets in order to make the 25 remaining sports competitive, or rather so you can funnel more money into a select group of your favorite programs in crazy hopes of being more success in those? @KeepStanfordWRE
