THE FCKING RELIEF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One reason why I took a break is because my heart simply COULD NOT BEAR watching this trial play out on social media. There has been so much trauma I just don't even know where to begin in explaining how I feel rn. 1/

1st of all, I want to lift this man's memory. And in memory of all Black lives that have been sacrificed SENSELESSLY as a result of this nation's selfishness & inhumanity. MY GOD. George Floyd, you changed the world and I only wish you didn't have to give your life for that. 2/

2nd, peace & blessings to George Floyd's family for their grace. This family & all who share this burden are in my forever prayers. I have examined the meaning of my BLACK life so many times over these last few months and it's tooooo damnnnnn muchhhhh. 3/

3rd, Floyd is ONE of too many who share the same fate. I can hardly celebrate this or call it justice when it took THE ENTIRE WORLD to respond to this INjustice in order to get just ONE morsel of accountabilty. MY GOD have we so many more miles to go before we sleep! 4/

I'm not an old woman but I sense an unrest with regards to these issues that seems to come once in a generation. I know it's hard and oh my are we TIREDDDDDDD but let's stay on the neck of bigotry because so many more need and DESERVE justice. So many more. TOO. Many. More. 5/

We fight on this app and sometimes it seems that it doesn't make a dent. But the truth is that every time you have a moment to speak from your heart is a moment not wasted or squandered. KEEP TRYING TO CONVERT the hearts of others. It IS worth it though taxing asffffffffffffff 6/

For me personally, idk if I'll ever return to this hellsite bc tho I miss u much my heart is safer now. Regardless, know that I love you much. I wish you great peace. And I'll always fight for whats right, for MYSELF & for those with whom I share an inherited bond. Bless you.

And ps I am sending the biggest hug to my Black and Brown fam right now because we held our breath today in a way NO ONE IN THIS COUNTRY SHOULD EVER HAVE TO.
