Think UEFA are blameless? They’re next.

In the same week the Super League was announced, UEFA pushed through their Champions League reforms. Spoiler, they stink.
More clubs, more money, more greed.
More clubs, more money, more greed.
The second bullet point is the crucial one. They’ve spent the last 48 hours reiterating how crucial competition in sport is, yet they’re more than happy opening the back door for the big clubs when it suits.
Their record in dealing with racism in football is abysmal. A 10 match ban for racially abusing Kamara was the most they could give Kudela, only to threaten players at Super League clubs with bans for life.
Actually giving Kudela a punishment was a surprise in a sense, they’ve let equally worse slide by in the past. Puney fines and pointless stadium bans is their usual method.
Seriously, the list of pathetic punishments they’ve handed out for explicitly racist acts by players or fans is spine chillingly ridiculous. https://www.google.com/amp/s/inews.co.uk/sport/football/uefa-racism-protocol-sanctions-punishments-full-list-clubs-fa-3-point-system-350721/amp">https://www.google.com/amp/s/ine...
Shouldn’t really need to say anything about this one. A 5000+ mile round trip from London with no direct flights. Wow.
Interesting to see UEFA position themselves as ‘for the fans’ this week. The same fans whose lost lives before the 1985 European Cup final wasn’t enough to cancel the match?
Russian gazzilionares Gazprom have their logos plastered over every Champions League match. They alone make up for 17% of the world’s global oil production and contribute 8% of Russia’s GDP.
