On the eve of welcoming my first kiddo into the world, I think it is time to do some major thanks to all of you who have impacted me in both my personal and professional world. I am almost certainly going to miss people, but just know you all helped shape me in some way

1/?
First of all, I have to give a major shoutout to both @DoerDi and @kshaw0128 - you both helped teach me, support me, and encourage me in the EdTech world. Whether it was challenging me in the work I do or the courses I took/taught, you both pushed me & inspire me. Thank you!

2/?
My Green Bay Tech family was all sorts of incredible - I learned DAILY from all of you how to be a better educator & person. @Braz74 was a partner in crime in MANY of the tech schemes, as well as @mrgfactoftheday @book_techjunkie @alsterckx @LisaHesseOlson @JoshuaPatchak

3/?
Let's not forget @AverbeckTech @MrsSchroederASD & @layden_jen from Ashwaubenon - so many great memories of #MWGS & #SwimUpPD - thank you for always being up for an adventure!

4/?
And what would #SwimUpPD be without folks like @AggieSalterITS @a_fenstermaker @kwildehealey @MrKlinge and MANY more. Basically anyone who has hung out with me at conferences has been such a driving force in where I am and where I am headed

5/?
Speaking of conferences, I am still forever indebted to folks like @mrmatera @tishrich @TaraMartinEDU @MrBold05 @carrie_baughcum & many others for letting me hang out, be weird, and play games with them during #ISTE and other events. Always love seeing my people!

6/?
I definitely owe a shoutout to @irvspanish and @misterwashburn at my first #FETC a few years ago. They invited all of Twitter to meet them for dinner, and these dudes treated me like a friend from minute one. Bonus points for also meeting up with @Gameboydrew there as well

7/?
I also owe @froehlichm for always being up to talk, motivate me, inspire me, and also share a good laugh. You're a good one, Mandy. Thanks!

8/?
I also have an incredible mentor in @deelanier - just watching how he carries himself is inspiration enough, but chatting with him always leads me to important ideas, questions, etc. Thanks for sharing your wisdom with me, man.

9/?
What's great is that Dee's mentorship has helped me *try* to do the same for @EdTechLegaspi - though I often wonder which one is the mentor & who is the mentee, heh. Darryl - you're one of a kind, man. It's been a pleasure getting to know you and @ElizabethKing88

10/?
All of this talk takes me back to my people - #LAX18 - this group has meant so much to me on a personal and professional level. I don't think a tweet will do this group justice... it's honestly just fun to watch them changing education each day.

11/?
Shoutout to @sadieclorinda for helping BOTH myself and my students with design. I learn something EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Then you have @manuelherrera33 making us all into a freakin' button. I still have the button, man!

12/?
Who can forget the epic trivia team of @mrsleban @Terencewhite23 @AdamGeisen @MikeWielgus & many more #LAX18 crewmates at #IDEACon - too good!

13/?
Then you just have dudes like @BradShreffler who will just offer to let you crash at his house when your flight gets cancelled, or @MrNunesteach who would buy you a cup of coffee at #ISTE just 'cause. There are tons of people just like that in EdTech. It's just fantastic.

15/?
I can't forget @ShareefJackson
- it's been incredible teaching Video Games & Learning with you and seeing your passion for equity in gaming. It's inspiring to watch you speak, and I learn from you every class, man.
16/?
I'm forgetting so many people here, but I think this thread could go on for a good 30-40 more tweets.

Thanks to this community for all of the laughs, support, and inspiration. Here's to another 10 years in Education and EdTech. It's been such a great ride. Thank you ALL.
