Time to get my 2nd corona jab! Another 917 kilometres of train travel and walking ahead. This time I& #39;m on a CFR night train from Bucharest to Caransebeş.
Old school CFR @sleeping_train charm in my cosy private compartment for the next 8 hours and 16 minutes.
A book and a nightcap or two is all I need. Two great IPAs from Hop Hooligans, the maddest and best

Not the best night of sleep on a night train ever but alas. Caransebeş station on an early morning! Time for a coffee.
My train to Slatina-Timiş. Time to dive into the Eastern European delicacy of a sparkling wine flavoured croissant.
View from the open window.
The trains and tracks in Romania may be a bit old, but the classic soundtrack of the rickety rail and train horn plus the views back from the last wagon are just great. You don& #39;t get the same experience in modern Western European trains.
And exactly four weeks after getting my first jab I& #39;m back in little Slatina-Timiş!
