Imagine a world where Israel and Iran are allies; Sunnis and Shia are not at war; funding for global terror dries up. This is a plausible world that the US should do everything possible to bring it about. Instead, current US policy is the biggest barrier to global peace.

For months Israel has been striking key targets within Iran, seeking to thwart its nuclear ambitions and its stated goal of the annihilating Israel. When the mullahs’ tyranny finally does collapse -it should be speedily in our days- the reborn Iranian-Israeli alliance combined with the new Abrahamic Arab-Israeli relationships will remake the entire geopolitical world.

Imagine a world in which Iran is NOT trying to control or overthrow Arab countries from Iraq to Syria to Lebanon to Saudi Arabia to Yemen to Libya.

Where Iran is NOT funding Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis, & Muslim brotherhood terrorists from So.America to Europe to the Philippines?

Imagine a world where, instead, Iran and Israel are allies. Where Israel and its Arab neighbors are allies. Where Iran and the Arab nations are not at war. Where funding for extremist terror groups worldwide dries up. Where Turkey can no longer exploit instability in the region.

Isn’t this a world we should be working for?
America should be tightening sanctions on Iran, building a coalition of global sanctions, and supporting the Israel-Arab rapprochement.

Instead, the biggest barrier to this very plausible future is the United States.

Current US policy seeks to stabilize the Islamist tyrants in Iran, weaken alliances with Arab nations, and provide Iran with legitimacy and funding that empowers the enemies of both peace and of America.

Until that changes, we are the barrier to a better, more hopeful future.
