Ok since no one has stopped me so far i'm gonna summarize as best i can what happened in the YoRHa Dark Apocalypse raids. This is just for fun, dont take as canon and don't snipe me. plz.
Starting off.
-At some point in time b4 the raid series begins, the Machines, 9S, and 2B arrive via the white orb
-The white orb looks a lot like a Seed of Destruction from the Drakengard universe
-Later on, the Machines become curious about the "reproductive act" as according to 2 archives
-We saw them overcome by this curiosity in Automata as well
-A quest description explains that the white-garbed androids (2P, etc.) were created by the machines
-This leads me to believe that 2P was born in a similar manner to Adam, out of a MACHINE compound
-Jumping ahead to the Puppet's Bunker, it is now occupied by the androids in white, the white YoRHa
-U can find a archive called "Longing" in 2B's room
-This archive likely belongs to 2P and explains that she was "born to give birth"
-In the Puppet's Bunker, 2B cuts down 2P
-2P self replicates out of her own wound to form a compound by herself
-The hex code for The Compound, 4C6F6E67696E67, translates to "Longing"
-We fight The Compound, not giving it a chance to form anything inside itself
-It breaks down partway through battle and forms Compound 2P instead
-It's goal wasn't to create Compound 2P, it's doing this out of failure
The ost that plays during the Compound 2P battle specifically is a remix of "Torn from the Heavens" and "Dark Colossus Destroys All".

A possible allusion to the idea that we stopped 2P before she had a chance to ascend and birth a Mother Angel.
-Moving along. Konogg and Anogg are exploring underground when a cave-in occurs
-It looks like Anogg died, as her belongings are found strewn about with her cap found near the white orb
-Konogg approaches the white orb and it lights up
-A Dwarf Facsimile walks out of it, capable of similar magic to the androids/"YoRHa"
-Seems to quickly learn how to talk after listening to Konogg rant
-Anw, she's the new Anogg, she's nice
-She describes herself as a "construct" later on in a letter to Konogg
-I take this to mean that the white orb created a machine(?) copy of the original Anogg after she fell into it during the cave-in(?) idk
-The white orb is relocated to the Puppet's Bunker at some point
-Later on, 2P emerges out of it. Speaks like an invader from another world
-Let's out a powerful scream that causes the cavern to shake
-We've seen Eve from NieR Automata do the same thing
-2P's screams and the white sphere disappears along with her
-You can spot digital blocks and noise/static as it disappears
-Outside, The Tower at Paradigm's Breach suddenly appears
-A digital noise/static is also present in it's structure
This is hurting my head.
-Anogg says we have to destroy the white sphere
-2P's plans are already in motion
Ok. Tower time. We climb the tower. And occasionally have to "transcend the ego collective" and help 9S hack certain doors by entering the Machine Network and fight enemies.

How can the WoL do this!? Hell if i know, i'm not even gonna try to understand. We are the WoL.
Within the network we face off with the remaining white androids who transform into Shades from NieR Replicant/Gestalt.

Spoilers ahead for NieR Gestalt/Replicant
The white androids are emulating Shades. This isn't surprising. In NieR Automata we learn that the machine network has "information regarding human memories" and actually has the Shadowlord, the first successful Gestalt embedded within it. They have Gestalt data.
At one point i think this connection was going to be made clearer as seen with this concept design for Eve's final boss form
Its been theorized that N2 has an association with or IS a Sleeping Beauty tree because:
-Machine Network extracted data from Forest of Myth
-Born from human memories, gestalt data
-Forest of Myth was described as fusion of plant and machine
(i'll google someone's theory later)
Top of the tower, N2 seems to be communicating or sending data toward the white sphere. She floats up toward it and enters it.
When all of the Red Girls enter it the white sphere lights up and what i assume to be the "gate" around it expands.
Ok sidebar here, i know the "gate"/portal above the tower here is supposed to remind us of how the Mother Angel / Grotesquerie Queen arrived in Ending E of DoD1. But also....
The False Idol falling out of the gate above the tower is also reminiscent of how Angels are summoned in Drakengard 3. With those familiar magic circles acting as portals to the summoners world.
Here's another comparison of an Angel being summoned and then the False Idol.

Seeing as the False Idol is the machines attempt to make their own Mother Angel, even IF it is artificial, it'd make sense that we'd see these magic circles with angelic text at play.
I do wonder if the magic circle itself is the portal/gate and not the "sphere" as the #FFXIV story keeps saying it is. Does the sphere just emanate/summon the portal?

This is cool tho. The machines just straight up acting more and more like Watcher.
Also, if we saw DoD Ending E be recreated today would the magic circles be retconned into the scene?

Just rambling rn. Again don't take anything i say as serious canon.
So anw. The sphere drops down from the portal and begins cracking open.

Just my opinion but the cracks, sound effects and overall aesthetic seems very "artificial" to me? Like this is a machine made creation. Mayhap not a "real" Seed of Destruction.
The False Idol's hex code translates to "Aberration"

It has a digital static around it and you can even hear audio static as well. It tries to exit the shell of the sphere but it's unable to.
There's a mix of physical black and red "Copied City" like blocks floating around it and also concentrated at it's legs along with more noticeable digital static where it's still attached to the sphere.
Here's something else. The inside of the "sphere" and even the cracks outside as it opens are reminiscent of circuit board lines and even the black boxes from Automata. Pointing back to the idea that the False Idol is machine based in origin.
Not sure why the blocks are black and red instead of the usual white ones but that may just be because that's the color scheme of the Red Girls and, possibly by extension, The Shadowlord(?) and their connection to him.

Again. Dont buy my bullsh*t.
Getting the obvious outta the way here but like anyone whose played a Drakengard game will tell you yeah N2 looks like, Manah, or One, or any Cult of the Watchers twin.

Everyone knows this duh. Ppl been speculating bout the connection between N2 and the Watchers since day 1.
So anw, at this point The False Idol looks very much like One, especially when One was part of The Flower at the end of DoD 3.

The name False Idol itself likely a pun on her being a False "Utahime" or Intoner, and also a false god.
One of the False Idol's abilities is even called "Made Magic" and involves her creating a "digital" magic (idk how else to describe this) version of One's chakrams. https://twitter.com/DrunkPopola/status/1383588400750469121
Many of the False Idol's abilities reference the Mother Angel and the Intoners music/sound based abilities.
Just my own opinion here, but the fact that this ability is called "Made Magic" and features the same digital static at the bottom as the False Idol does at it's base just furthers my belief that the False Idol is an artificial Grotesquerie. A "copy" thats being formed.
The black and red blocks seem to be associated with the magic being used as well seeing as they increase in number here for a moment. My own bullheck theory is that they're "copied city" like blocks, so this is "copied magic".

Also note the digital static present in the rings.
All of this could be completely wrong but i'm having fun here so i'm not stopping.

The song that plays during the False Idol battle is "Possessed by Disease", better known for it's alternate version that features the machines saying "Become as god!".
False Idol says we'll be among the first to see "the new world" and "we've waited so long to throw these gates wide". Inch resting.
It performs an ability called "Eminence" that seems to call down a destructive light from the gate/portal itself.
The False Idol says "Let the light in" and holds these digital looking particles in front of itself including what looks like VHS static at it's center. Much different than any other form of static/noise/or glitching we'd seen at this point, the VHS static in particular.
The False Idol disappears along with the particles and floats up INTO the portal. This process is similar to how Anogg later dematerializes and disappears into the portal.

I believe this is conveying that this is how their entire physical being goes through the portal
The difference in particle makeup is probably because Anogg is a "construct", something closer to a normal machine or android, while the False Idol has become something more.
