My learnings from writing everyday in Public.

//Thread//🧵👇👇

1⃣ Waiting doesn’t spark motivation to write.

Writing and creating consistently is what sparks motivation.
2⃣ Thinking is not writing.

Only writing is writing. Be it good, bad, ugly it doesn't matter.
3⃣ Not having a topic to write about is a Myth procrastinators believe in.

Perhaps, the best way to start writing is to write for my younger self and about my experiences.
4⃣ Building an audience is a by-product of writing.

Hence the excuse that there is no one reading what I am writing is not really true.
5⃣ I can’t create a masterpiece out of everything I write.

So letting perfectionism come in my way is a great way to create a mind-made obstacle.
6⃣ Creating/Writing every day is like learning how to use my magic wand.

I will never know what will come out of it until I use it. Not creating is letting my magic go to waste.
7⃣ Writing is Important. But Publishing it is even more important.

Publishing what I create consistently helps me get feedback from my audience, which will become my future cues to write.
8⃣ The best way to write in public is to find the intersection of what I want to write and what my audience wants to read.

The only way to find points of intersection is by writing and publishing consistently.
9⃣I learned all of these valuable tips and many more by sailing in the Ship for three weeks now 🚢🚢.
