As someone who's been furious about the Fords since... <checks watch> 2010, I feel like since the City Hall gong show days we've lost sight of how incredibly fucked-up and toxic Doug's upbringing was, and how it absolutely informs every decision he makes as Premier.

Doug Ford Sr. was widely known as an angry anti-government crank as well as a withholding asshole who bullied his children. He was a self-made businessman, and nothing his kids did could ever live up to his expectations.
